Listing

What is referred to as "listing" is an asset when an exchange provides trading pairs for that asset. In conventional markets, this indicates that a company's shares (or other significant assets) are tradable on that specific stock exchange. Generally speaking, this denotes that the company being listed has attained a specific level of exchange confidence in addition to meeting certain requirements for financial and regulatory sustainability. Therefore, the exchange is indicating that the shares of the firm or asset are known to be of a minimum standard of quality via the act of listing. For cryptocurrency exchanges, listing an asset with a trading pair with, say, Ethereum (ETH), or Ripple (XRP) expresses a similar expression of trust in a project and its associated digital asset. Additionally, it shows that the connected trading pair has enough liquidity to provide reliable price discovery.
