In the new episode of our Meta<in>vest Podcast series, we discussed Web3.0, which has started to show itself on a serious scale in every aspect of our lives in the last few years, and the brands' approach to it. Merve İşler, who has made a name for herself in the field of information technologies in Turkey, had a very pleasant conversation with our community manager Aybars Dorman.
So, what is Web3.0? How should brands approach Web3?
Web3 is the third phase of the internet and aims for a decentralized, fair, secure and transparent world. Web3 communities are networks of people and organizations working towards this goal. They enable users to control and share their own data and currency, using technologies such as blockchain technologies, token economies, decentralized networks and dApps.
When evaluating Web3 communities, brands should assess whether the community is working in line with its goals and vision, has an actively engaged and engaging team, has a strong and up-to-date technological infrastructure, has strong interaction and collaboration among its member communities, and has the potential to help its projects achieve realistic goals. It should also carefully evaluate the community's past performance, the current motivations of its members, and the future potential of the community.
In conclusion, Web3 communities present a significant opportunity for brands and utilizing them properly can ensure long-term success and profitability for brands.
